The Asian Society of Teachers for Research, Inc., an organization devoted to the advancement of pedagogy in the teaching of research in all academic levels, brings the Asian Conference in Interdisciplinary Research (ACIR 2017) on September 15-17, 2017 in the Islands of the Gods, Bali, Indonesia!

Themed, “Sustainable and Regenerative Development for Personal, Organizational and Community Wellness through Interdisciplinary Research,” the ACIR 2017 aimed: 1) to appreciate models of sustainable and regenerative development across Asia and beyond its borders; (2) to share best practices in sustainable and regenerative development that nourished persons, organizations, and communities through action and interdisciplinary research; (3) disseminate new research results of interdisciplinary studies; (4) to forge partnerships, collaborations and alliances to foster interdisciplinary research; and (5) to experience Balinese culture through integration and interaction with Balinese families and communities.

The ACIR 2017 is co-hosted by WOW Bali Global Initiative, Dwijendra University and Northwestern University with Prof. Hai Dai Nguyen as Conference Chair. Delegates will get to experience WOW Bali’s World Model of sustainable and regenerative development of community-based ecotourism that has successfully made Bali world-famous!

An amalgamation of tropical wonders, distinct culture and wonderful people, Bali, Indonesia is a paradise that rarely disappoints. From its dramatic volcanoes wrapped in deep green canopy to its highlands and coastlines decorated by elaborate pagodas, Bali is more than a tourist destination. It is an experience of a lifetime.

SUBMISSIONS FOR PRESENTATION CONSIDERATION

Submit a full paper with a 200-word abstract with five parts: (1) introduction of the topic; (2) objectives; (3) methods; (4) results; and (5) conclusion with keywords having four parts: (1) discipline of the study; (2) concepts investigated; (3) methods and process, (4) geography (country/continent). It must be accompanied by formal 2x2 photo, name of institution, and institution logo. Send these documents to [email protected]/[email protected]. All submissions must be in Microsoft Word.

For observer, please submit the filled-out observer registration form together with a 2X2 formal photo and curriculum vitae of the observer.

CONFERENCE STREAMS

Community-based ecotourism, sustainable development, regenerative development, ecology and conservation, biodiversity, conservation of heritage sites, indigenous culture and arts, action research interventions, challenges in tourism, hotel and restaurant management, health and safety, education and other fields.

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

Each part of the manuscript must contain appropriate and sufficient substance. The paper must demonstrate the following parts: (1) Heading having five parts: Title, name of the author/s, ORCID No. (visit www.orcid.org to register), email address, affiliation and address; (2) Abstract; (3) Keywords; (4) Introduction; (5) Framework Of The Study; (6) Objectives Of The Study; (7) Materials And Methods (for experimental researches); (8) Methodology (for nonexperimental researches); (9) Results And Discussion; (10) Conclusions; (11) Translational Research (Optional); (12) Acknowledgments; and (13) Literature Cited.

Each presenter is allowed to present up to a maximum of two papers.
