The Research for Gender and Development program equips participants to integrate a strong GAD lens into every stage of research by grounding them in core gender concepts and policy mandates, strengthening their ability to design ethical and gender-responsive methodologies, enhancing their skills in analyzing gender-specific data to identify gaps and inequalities, and guiding them in transforming research findings into evidence-based GAD programs, policies, and advocacy that promote inclusive and equitable development.
The program will be conducted and facilitated by Dr. Genaro V. Japos, Founder of the Asean Research Organization.
The objectives are to:
- Equip participants with foundational knowledge of Gender and Development (GAD) concepts, frameworks, and policies to strengthen gender responsive research practices;
- Develop participants’ ability to design and implement gender sensitive research methodologies aligned with national and international GAD standards;
