Training-Workshop on Applications of Advanced Regression Models in Analysis of Diverse Datasets
February 26, 2026
456 Hotel, Baguio City, Philippines
In the modern era of data-driven decision-making, regression analysis remains one of the most powerful tools for understanding relationships between variables and predicting outcomes. While simple and multiple linear regression models are foundational, many real-world datasets require advanced analytical techniques to capture complexities such as non-linearity, ordinal responses, count data, or hierarchical structures. The application of advanced regression models, including non-parametric quantile regression, logistic regression (binary, ordinal, and multinomial), hierarchical models with interaction effects, and count models (Poisson and negative binomial), allows researchers to uncover deeper insights and address more nuanced questions.
The Asian Association of Interdisciplinary Research, Inc. (AAIR, Inc.) with SEC Registration No.
CN201619459 is inviting you to participate in the training workshop on "Applications of
Advanced Regression Models in Analysis of Diverse Datasets" on February 26-28, 2026 at 456
Hotel, Baguio City, Philippines.
The program will be conducted and facilitated by Dr. John Vianne B. Murcia - Research
Director, Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc.
The objectives are to:
- Understand the Foundations and Applications of Advanced Regression Models: Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the principles, assumptions, and theoretical underpinnings of advanced regression models, including their appropriate applications in real-world contexts.
- Perform Advanced Regression Analyses Using Open-Source Software: Participants will learn how to conduct and interpret advanced regression analyses—including non-parametric quantile regression, logistic regression (binary, ordinal, and multinomial), hierarchical models with moderating effects, and count models (Poisson and negative binomial)—through hands-on activities.
- Translate Analytical Results into Practical Insights: Participants will develop the ability to interpret outputs from advanced regression models and effectively communicate findings in a manner that supports decision-making, policy formulation, or academic contributions.
