(AAAI), with SEC Registration Number CN201619469, is inviting you to participate in the training workshop on "Bibliometric Analysis for Research Mapping and Publication Development" on November 4-5, 2026 at Selah Pods Hotel, Pasay City, Philippines. The training workshop will be facilitated by a Professor at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, Dr. Arnel Travero.

This hands-on training-workshop guides you step-by-step through designing bibliometric studies, mapping research trends, analyzing citation networks, and uncovering hidden research gaps. Beyond just mastering software, you’ll gain the methodological rigor and scholarly writing skills needed to turn complex bibliographic data into publication-ready manuscripts and conference presentations.

Training Objectives:

1. Explain the concepts, applications, strengths, and limitations of bibliometric analysis;
2. Design an appropriate bibliometric study for a selected research topic;
3. Retrieve and prepare bibliographic datasets from major academic databases;
4. Generate bibliometric visualizations using VOSviewer and descriptive analyses using Biblioshiny;
5. Interpret bibliometric outputs to identify publication trends, collaboration patterns, thematic structures, and research gaps;
6. Organize bibliometric findings using the IMRAD structure; and
7. Develop a preliminary bibliometric study suitable for conference presentation or publication development.
