Best Practices in the Teaching of Research: Blending Pedagogical Techniques, Smart Technologies, and Generative AI
September 28-29, 2023
via ZOOM Teleconferencing
From topic ideation to research dissemination, the integration of pedagogy, smart technologies, and generative AI in the teaching of research represents a major paradigm shift in education. One of the important sub-set of artificial intelligence, Generative AI has been a game-changer in the field of education and research with its ability to generate data autonomously which include texts, images and even music with the use of machine and deep learning.
The synergy of effective pedagogical techniques, smart technologies, and generative AI presents a wealth of opportunities revolutionizing how research is taught and imparted to students. In fusing traditional pedagogical techniques with innovative smart technologies and generative AI, this convergence of techniques holds immense promise in reshaping and redefining student’s research engagement, mastery, and journey towards the completion of their research outputs. By harnessing the capabilities of Generative AI and smart technologies but also emphasizing human guidance and critical thinking skills as paramount, how can one become a research teacher capable of navigating the 21st Century pedagogy-technology nexus?
With this in mind, the Asian Society of Teachers for Research Inc. invites you to the Webinar on Best Practices in the Teaching of Research: Blending Pedagogical Techniques, Smart Technologies, and Generative AI on September 28-29, 2023 via ZOOM Teleconferencing.
