The International Association of Research Ethics Across Disciplines, Inc. (IAREAD) will hold a face-to-face training on “Advanced Mixed Methods and Analysis for Publishable Research in Scopus-indexed Journals” on November 27-29, 2025 at Cebu Castle Peak Hotel, Cebu City, Philippines. This face-to-face training will be facilitated by the Vice-President for Research and Planning, Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. and Australia Awards 2018 Scholar for Predictive Analytics - Curtin University, Dr. John Vianne B. Murcia.

In today’s academic world, getting published in high-impact journals often requires advanced research methods. This training seminar helps early-career researchers by teaching them mixed methods research (MMR), which combines the detailed insights of qualitative studies with the strong data analysis of quantitative methods. The program focuses on advanced techniques like exploratory factor analysis and various regression models, equipping participants with the skills to design, analyze, and interpret their research to meet international publishing standards. By boosting their methodological confidence, the seminar aims to help researchers get their work accepted into reputable Scopus-indexed journals and contribute to global scholarship.

Training Objectives:

1. To develop advanced competencies in integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches within mixed methods research designs suitable for publication in Scopus-indexed journals;
2. To provide hands-on training in advanced quantitative analyses applied within mixed methods frameworks;
3. To enhance researchers’ ability to design, analyze, and present publishable mixed methods studies, ensuring methodological rigor, alignment with journal standards, and higher chances of acceptance in international publications.
