International Conference on Business, Education, Engineering and Sciences (ICBEES 2016)

The conference delegates during the opening programme of the International Conference on Business, Education. Engineering and Sciences last November 25, 2017 at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, United Arab Emirates

With the theme, " Business, Education, Engineering and Sciences Research: Addressing Challenges, Integrating Disciplines and Strengthening Collaborations," the International Conference on Business, Education, Engineering and Sciences 2016 has gathered 73 research enthusiasts, practitioners, experts and students from 22 higher education institutions in the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Mauritius, India, Egypt, and Jordan. Co-sponsored by Cromwell UK International, the ICBEES 2016 provided a platform for the presentation of research outputs and breakthroughs in Business, Education, Engineering and Sciences Research. It was held last November 25-28, 2017 at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, United Arab Emirates.

Honorable Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes delivered his message to the delegates during the conference

The conference was graced by the Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes of the Republic of the Philippines, Mr. Nisar Muhammed, CEO of Cromwell UK International Education Middle East, Dr. Marita R. Canapi, President of the University of Rizal System and Prof. Mohammed Saeed, VP for Scientific Research Al Khawarizmi International College. Keynote addresses were delivered by the Outstanding Global Researcher Awardee Dr. Chris I. Enyinda and Prof. Mervyn J. Misajon of Ajman University, United Arab Emirates. The conference committee chair of the ICBEES 2016 is Dr. Rommel P. Sergio of Canadian University Dubai who was also awarded the Outstanding Global Research Leader. Other awardees were Dr. Maria Jade C. Opulencia of Ajman University (Business), Dr. Ann Gloghienette O. Perez of Higher Colleges of Technology (Education), and Mr. Wilson R.

Jacinto of De La Salle University-DasmariƱas (Sciences) whom received the Best Abstract Awards. Meanwhile, the Best Paper Awards were given to Dr. Diana J. Haladay of Canadian University Dubai (Quantitative), Dr. Nida H. Garcia of Philippine School of Doha (Qualitative), and Dr. Imee C. Acosta of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts.

There were also research collaborations fostered during the conference. The University of Rizal System signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Cromwell UK International. The International Association of Scholarly Publishers, Editors, and Reviewers, Inc. also fostered collaboration with Al Khawarizmi International College.

A total of 30 research studies were presented during the conference. These studies were divided into two concurrent sessions. Each concurrent session had three preselected concurrent judges that will determine the Best Oral Presenter of every set. After the presentation Dr. Imee C. Acosta of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts, Dr. Emma E. Linga of the University of Rizal System, Mr. Melchor Zabala Oribiana of University of Leeds, Dr. Nida H. Garcia of Philippine School of Doha, Dr. Leo C. Rio/Dr. Maritess M. Rio of University of Rizal System, Dr. Alexander S. Acosta of Philippine School Doha, Dr. Mervyn J. Misajon of Ajman University and Dr. Ahmad Jaffar of Canadian University Dubai were proclaimed as Best Oral Presenters.
