RESEARCH METHODS FOR REGENERATIVE DEVELOPMENT STUDIES

Dao Diamond Hotel and Restaurant, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines
April 11-14, 2018

The International Association of Scholarly Publishers, Editors and Reviewers (IASPER), Inc. with the SEC Registration No. CN201433407 is inviting you to participate in the training on Research Methods for Regenerative Development Studies that will be staged on April 11-14, 2018 at the Dao Diamond Hotel and Restaurant, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines.

Rationale

Everywhere, there are always interventions to solve problems of the organization and societies. But there is the perennial issue of sustainability. We bear witness to communities that reverted to their original state because their change agents have already left. Development should be in the hands of the people. Hence, a new framework is emerging-regenerative development in which people are developed, regenerated, and empowered to design their future. WOW Bali International Initiative of Bali, Indonesia has demonstrated that regenerative development works based on action research results that regenerated communities. This training teaches the research methods for regenerative development.

The objectives of the training are to:

  1. introduce regenerative development as theoretical framework of community interventions based on empirical evidence;
  2. learn the methods of regenerative development studies;
  3. acquire insights from the lived experiences of WOW Bali’s actual regenerative development of communities in Bali, Indonesia;
  4. learn from the SOAR approach of regenerative development research practiced in Loboc, Bohol; and
  5. learn techniques on how to publish a regenerative development paper.
