The success or failure of a research student often hinges on the quality of research advising and paneling, yet formal training in these critical tasks is scarce. As a result, many educators rely on outdated practices rooted in their personal thesis experiences. This training addresses this gap by equipping participants with cutting-edge trends in thesis advising that increase the likelihood of peer-reviewed publication acceptance.

It aims to empower educators to formulate innovative policies and procedures to enhance the advising and paneling process, adopt non-directive paneling techniques, and leverage AI tools to boost the quality and efficiency of their guidance. Additionally, the training will establish frameworks to incorporate external and international experts, enriching the advising and paneling landscape with diverse perspectives and specialized knowledge.

The training objectives are to:

1. learnrecenttrendsinthesisadvisingthatguaranteesthepaper’sacceptancetopeer reviewed publication;
2. formulate new policies and procedures to strengthen thesis advising and research paneling;
3. acquire non-directive techniques of research paneling;
4. apply AI tools and technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of research advising and paneling processes; and
5. establish mechanisms for external and foreign experts to assist research advisers and panelists.

REGISTRATION FEE

he regular registration fee is 6,500.00 PHP inclusive of two days lunches, AM and PM snacks, training Kits, ID and certificates. The organizer will not be shouldering the accommodation of each participant since the training is in a live-out arrangement. A list of hotels will be provided as guidance to the participants reflecting the hotel address and contact information, estimated rate per night, and proximity to the hotel venue.

Deadline of payment for regular registration will be on October 2, 2024. For onsite payments the following additional documents are required: Travel Order, Hotel Accommodation, and Flight Details, among others.
