TRAINING-WORKSHOP ON INTEGRATING AI INTO PUBLISHING RESEARCH REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

July 11-13, 2024
New Dawn Hotel Plus, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines

A research begins with a hypothesis derived from a comprehensive review of the research literature. The first oral defense in a research journey often involves defending the Review of Related Literature (RRL). The goal of this defense is to establish what has already been written about the research topic from various perspectives, including global, ASEAN, and national contexts. By identifying gaps in the existing literature, researchers can define the focus of their study, aiming to contribute new knowledge that fills these gaps.

Traditionally, the RRL is a substantial chapter in research projects, often perceived as an extensive but underutilized component. However, RRLs hold significant potential for publication as standalone papers in academic journals. This training-workshop is designed to harness the power of AI in transforming RRLs into publishable works, enhancing the quality and relevance of literature reviews in research.

The International Association of Scholarly Publishers, Editors and Reviewers (IASPER) with the SEC Registration No. CN201433407 is inviting you to participate in the Training-Workshop on Integrating AI into Publishing Research Review of the Literature on July 11-13, 2024 at NewDawn Hotel Plus, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines.

The training-workshop aims to:

  1. Explore the use of AI in Searching, Analyzing and Integrating Literature (RRL): Equip participants with AI tools to efficiently search, analyze, and integrate literature, improving the comprehensiveness and depth of their RRLs.
  2. Utilize AI to Transform Existing RRL Drafts into Publishable Papers: Provide hands-on training on leveraging AI to refine and enhance RRL drafts, making them suitable for publication while emphasizing the importance of human intervention in the final review process.
  3. Learn the Parameters of the Standards in Peer Reviewing RRL: Educate participants on the standards and criteria used in peer reviewing RRL papers, and how AI can assist in meeting these standards through automated feedback and analysis.
  4. Comply Requirements of Editors of Journal Publications in Accepting RRL Papers: Ensure participants understand and can meet the specific requirements of journal editors, using AI to aid in formatting and improving submissions, while maintaining rigorous human oversight.
  5. Apply AI-Integrated Quality Assurance Measures to Enhance the Quality of RRL Papers for Publication: Implement quality assurance measures that integrate AI tools to enhance the quality of RRL papers, ensuring thorough human review to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and excellence.
